    One thing that interests me is that when I see these kinds of "caring about the environment is good" posters in America, it's always a generic call to simply respect the environment, but with Soviet posters they often appeal to your sense of civic duty to do good. I vaguely recall seeing posters from like, the 40s, that call on American citizens to like, get your thumb crushed in a factory or whatever, but nothing like this.
