Also, ratio of upvotes:comments could also work. Few up votes, but lots of comments from unique people could still count maybe? linkfedilink

You'll get ratioed from other instances. You wouldn't see them from Reddthat, but instances who have downvotes display them
Why would people who choose instances with downvotes be against downvotes on an instance they're not even using?
Also, ratio of upvotes:comments could also work. Few up votes, but lots of comments from unique people could still count maybe?
