Seriously, he moved it to schedule 2, all that means is that a few people might be able to use it medically. Meth is schedule 2 for Christ's sake.

Turns out it's schedule 3, not 2. Roman numerals are the XIIth type of liberalism.

I don't believe for a second Biden had anything to do with this, but moving weed to schedule 3 is a huge step. and it's one step under Meth btw.

Drug scheduling makes no fucking sense. It doesn't rank how dangerous a drug is at all. I mean, ketamine is pretty safe, but it is addictive and you can have similar withdrawals as you can to opiates, albeit easier to deal with. You can buy as much booze as you want any time despite it being arguable the most dangerous drug there is, it's partially cause everyone can get as much as they want any time that this is the case, but not entirely. If you're getting drunk daily, you're not treating your body any better than a heroin addict except it's your liver taking the brunt instead of your kidneys and the withdrawal can kill you where with heroin you'll just feel like dying. If H was at a comparable price point per daily fix as booze is, any societal issues with the drug would dissappear cause addicts could more easily get the money to stay well, drunk people can be dangerous as hell just cause they're drunk. It's all vibes based.

they couldnt do it by danger when they started the war on drugs because they wanted a way to target black populations so their criteria was "potential for addiction and medical benefit" because at the time nobody had any real studies on the medical benefits and they could lie all they wanted about addiction

its also the reason crack is so maligned while cocaine is not because cocaine used to be used in medicine so it had a historical veneer of science and legitimacy and crack was the bad drugs for the ghettos.... even though its the same fucking drug

I agree with scheduling and all that. Ceacknand cocaine should count as just cocaine. They do be hittin different tho. But under thst logic shooting coke should also get it's own schedule cause that's also very different. Snorting is what we all have seen or done, crack imo does kinda kick a bit of ass, for the first hit and then you gradually start to feel like trash, the other hits don't do like the first and you fiend for a few hours til it wears off or make the mistake of getting more. Shooting it feels like being hit by a train made of tinfoil and I hate it.

They don't consider it different for any other drug. If you smoke meth or snort meth or shoot up meth its all the same under the law. Same with heroin, which you can snort.

I'm all too aware you can snort heroin. I knew a dude who ate it. Which is max danger with minimal effect. Ranking systems really should have a basis and mixing something with.wster and baking soda shouldn't make it considered a different thing under the law unless water and baking soda become illegal.
