Monbiot is pretty ok, he's not going to be offended by this at all lol. He's a trot but he's got perfectly good views outside of the usual trot disagreements with mls.
I'm not familiar with Monbiot so thanks for letting me know. In my experience the Brits love dishing it out under the excuse of "banter" but as soon as you push back they get all huffy and offended.
Nahhh the unspoken rule is if you can dish it out you have to be able to take it. If you can’t take it people will only keep needling at the thing that triggers you the most until you develop a facade of utterly impervious cynicism and apathy just in order to survive the most basic of social interactions
