A map illustrating the rise and expansion of the Tsardom of Russia under the rule of Ivan IV Vasilyevich (commonly known as The Terrible, from the Russian “grozny“(грозный), Fearsome or Awe-inspiring). Originally a Grand Prince of Moscow, Ivan IV became the first to be crowned and rule as the Tsar of all Russia (from the Latin Caesar), previously a conglomerate of dutchies. He laid the foundation of absolute rule, engaged in a reign of terror against the nobility, reformed the government, opened diplomatic relations with England, wrote music, oversaw cultural and religious renaissance, and aggressively expanded the Russian borders through war and conquest. Shortly after his death (in 1584), Russia entered decades of instability known as The Troubles (Смута) that ended his Rurik dynasty and opened the way for the Romanovs.

thinking about early 00s post-hardcore bands He is Legend and nintendo-core band Horse the Band. they both put on an amazing show
wanna know what the early internet culture was like? basically horse the band's bunnies video that was apparently first released on Albino Black Sheep (!)
Fuck you reminded my brain of the mystery nintendocore song, that i couldn't remember for the last year
I dont even know nintendo themes, so don't the name or anything.
**ooh progress, its dr wily theme from megaman but they are all wrong =\
Horse the Band has a song called Cutman, also from megaman if that helps
CUT CUT CUT CUUUUTTTTT!!!
It's weird how often Horse the Band has been coming up recently. I saw them in middle school at an all ages venue that closed down years ago, of course. Got a bright teal shirt that had cutman on it
Also got to see He Is Legend in middle school or highschool at an all ages venue inside a church. God I'm so nostalgic for my youth lol
