Same here. Read some rand in school cause my father likes it and wanted to impress him. I just didn't care for her books as time went on. Of course after developing a decent political framework I came to realize how dumb those ideas and the books are.
Unironically, reading The Fountainhead in high school probably put me on the road to becoming a socialist.
