The thing here is, the Asuka Japanese person is 22 and had just gone through her red seal and is technically a chef but has none of the experience necessary for it where he has worked this place longer than the rest of of, beating me by a year but his previous experience is Wendy's ans a local bar that serves okay food. He did learn a lot o. His own about food and whatnot and has decent logistic skills, I have no formal training but have always worked high end stuff and learned everything in the field over 15 years, I work the same hours as our sous chef and make him look really good cause that gives me a similar paycheck, people assume the same level of authority and none of the blowback mattering as much do I try to tsle some of his, cause tbh, he's not ready for the job. He's a geologist by education. He didn't want to pilot eva, so he's shinji. She is full training no experience and false expectations until recently, big Asuka vibes and it's her favorite character cause she really sees the show different than I so. I'm Minato cause I come to work half in the bag and stoned and direct these two forces

I've worked NUMEROUS kitchens in my life and all in all we've got a really good group. The dynamics have.beem fuckddstelt cause Asuka is on maternity leave and chef Gendo (if gendo was our chef the Eva's would be a Red Green duct tape trebuchet) has been off for surgery so it's been Misato and Shinji in charge of operating NERVE and were both tired
But yeh, the people are dope and we pay decent as far as kitchens go and have retained most of the staff for a while so at this point t we've all been working together for at least 2 years and there is some real nice coordination and solidarity that comes with working that hard together for thst long. It is pretty nice and thanks for reminding me
