The fact theres a zillion guns and its easy to get one just makes it easier to enact and makes them potentially more deadly, but we know that's not the whole story. The right wants to hamdwave it on "mental health" which of course they don't care about unless it means they can criminalize mental health issues.
We all know there has to be some other thing (except for full on anti-gun lib , just another part of their big data/ common sense reform fetish). But in the US we can't talk about that thing because its a direct critique of capitalism.
