Next week, I have two days of training, but other than that, I don't start "real" work until Monday, September 23rd. This is to be a community organizer for a pro-worker nonprofit.
I have to cover $900 by October 1st for rent. We were able to accomplish it last time, so I have a lot more confidence that we can do it again.
I'd greatly appreciate any support. I will finally be able to be a full-time wagecuck 😞 (capitalism gets people thinking this is a happy thing to say).
I will keep this updated. Unfortunately, just like last month, I may have to make frequent posts and be a pest again.
Thank you all for being nice 🥺👉👈
I have Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo, all through PMs.
I don't know if this still would be able to cover my rent by the 1st. I haven't entirely clarified if they pay biweekly or weekly, but either way, it'll be too late by the looks of it.
You could always get one of those incredibly predatory payday loans, but I wouldn't recommend it
My reaction to this idea, based on past experiences

yeah I'm guessing in a nonprofit it'll be biweekly, in which case they should pay you for the training days by the 1st, but they may try and weasel out of that, in which case its a tossup. if you're unlucky it won't be paid til the 15th. even in the absolute best case it'll still only be a little over 1 week of pay so yah :/ That's unlikely to cover rent unless the pay is great
edit: forgot about the training days
