I saw a reddit thread the other day of liberals saying that Merrick Garland would be remembered as the greatest traitor in US history for failing to arrest Trump, and that Biden was responsible for Trump because he didn't fire Garland. It's wild to see these people oscillate wildly between fawning adoration and seething contempt for people like Comey, Mueller, Garland, and Biden. The one consistent conclusion they arrive at is that every marginalized person in the empire deserves to suffer for being insufficiently enthusiastic about Harris, who should not have needed to do anything except not be Trump. If you ask them why they didn't listen to anyone who's been saying all along that people like Obama, Clinton, Comey, Mueller, Garland, Biden, etc. would ultimately just make bank surrendering to the Republicans, they call you a Chinese Russian bot before devolving into 90's era homophobia and racial slurs. How dare you have expected them to do something after all. Just showing up and not being Trump should have been enough for you. It's actually your fault Trump was elected because all your unreasonable expectations that Democrats do literally anything that might have prevented this exact outcome caused him to win.
