I have a job as a waitress but it's obviously been shut down because of the pandemic. I've basically been caught between a rock and a hard place as I'm on a zero hour contract meaning I technically have a job so don't qualify for unemployment benefits but I'm also not making any money from my work. I only get a small amount of benefits which doesn't come close to covering my rent, bills or food. I've tried appealing for more money but it's like arguing with a brick wall.

I set up a patreon to help cover costs and it's been fairly popular but nowhere near enough to get by on.

I've basically been relying off of donations from strangers on twitter but they decided to suspend me because of the call verification bug for 4 months and even now that I have my account back they seem to severely limit how many people see the posts. God forbid people actually use their website to help people.

I should be back on my feet again by July as the indoor cafes are set to reopen June but I just need some help covering bills until then. I've had to borrow thousands of pounds from my friends and can't really face having to ask them for even more.

Just any help at all would really help me. Even a dollar or pound helps pay for a meal and I've basically been starving myself to save money.

I put my poetry, photography, art and recipes (although that's been hard recently due to the lack of money) up on there so there's bound to be something you'll like and I try to post something every day. I prefer it just because it helps me to feel like I'm giving something back rather than leeching off of people's generosity but obviously I'll accept whatever help people can offer. You don't have to go for one of the tiers either, most of my patrons give just $1 and if 500 people did that I wouldn't have to worry about anything.
