I go to work and half the workers drive massive trucks the size of freaking tanks, and I wonder why they need a fucking Abrams to commute in a metropolitan area
Sometimes the more stupid truck freaks park in the end-of-row spots, and it amuses me to see them get stuck when they try to take the sheer corner of the lot exit and their rear wheel gets stuck right on the wooden lot boundary post, because those monsters need a turn radius the size of another car to clear it.
Yeah, unless you're doing really specific work there's no reason for trucks that big. My parents have a 2000 tundra (they were a lot smaller then) and they've never needed anything bigger even when moving their kids out or doing construction stuff for their house. So many of the newer models are just about posturing.
