I can see the dialectic working through the piece, too, even if you're self-consciously light-touch. I'm a fan of the self help genre but a lot of it is just apologism for capitalism. There's a space in the market for communist self help!

I'm not 100% sure but if you're interested, you might find the Chinese phrase for it in the literature on the pursuit of 'Common Prosperity'. E.g. this whitepaper talks about 'time-phased' projects and 'perseverance over generations', which is close to what you're talking about.
