We should just annex Cuba at this point. They tried governing themselves when we let them be independent, time to take back that mistake. Annex Cuba, free the people, make them US citizens.
In order for that to even be a possibility, Cuba would need to democratically decide that and then congress would need to be on board with it as well. Cuba isn’t a democracy though and the US can’t fix every problem. We need to stop acting like it. We’re pretty fucked up here too.
