So like an hour into work my freezer decides to break down. It was a whole thing. By the time it was fixed and I realized I was hungry it was like 4 pm. So for dinner I said fuck it and put a block of beyond meat, a diced onion, and a package of mushrooms into a pot along with a decent amount of steak seasoning and vegan cheddar. It started off nice, but then the texture on the beyond meat got weird and it ended up looking like slop. Tasted good though. The whole pot would have been 1400 cal, but weirdly enough I was stuffed half way through and stopped at 700 cal. I had a 200 cal side of bagel thins with that. A few hours later I snacked on 390 cal of ginger snap cookies. Throughout the day I had around 100 cal in misc drinks. I didn't exercise today, so my daily total is at a nice 1390 / 1500 cal.
When I first decided to change the way I eat I spent a ton of money on frozen fake meat.
The impossible meat was like the first thing to be eaten, so I guess I really like it! At this point I'm just using up what I have before I buy more. :meow-fiesta:
