These are great comics, truly formative for me. I haven't read them in a long time though so maybe they are worse than I remember. I grew up reading hunter Thompson so finding a comic version of the guy was a lot of fun. I loved the art too, the really intricate and colourful take on cyberpunk was a nice contrast to the grimdark rain of bladerunner.

Royce smoking a million cigarettes is one of the best panels in comics.

I love this series - I remember loving it when I was young and thinking I'd be into comic books in general. I was for a while but nothing ever really engaged me the same way and I lost interest.
