none of this shit controls correctly in either motion control mode or handheld mode. I have to attempt every action at least five times just to get something to happen once. Despite having a god awful amount of text explaining things, nothing is ever explained well. Compare this to something like ring fit adventure, where you get a rotoscoped video of someone doing any action alongside tips to do that action better. Link moves weird, my joycons don't have drift yet he never feels like he's going in the direction I'm aiming him in. Everything feels finnicky and bad. The swimming animation looks bizarre and is horribly slow, to the point where I know there's gotta be something else I'm supposed to do during it, but hitting help or pausing for controls gives you no information.

      The Mario anniversary edition showed they have a fully functional Wii/gamecube/n64 emulator. And they're phoning it in so hard that they haven't even bothered getting free cash from it :angery:
