none of this shit controls correctly in either motion control mode or handheld mode. I have to attempt every action at least five times just to get something to happen once. Despite having a god awful amount of text explaining things, nothing is ever explained well. Compare this to something like ring fit adventure, where you get a rotoscoped video of someone doing any action alongside tips to do that action better. Link moves weird, my joycons don't have drift yet he never feels like he's going in the direction I'm aiming him in. Everything feels finnicky and bad. The swimming animation looks bizarre and is horribly slow, to the point where I know there's gotta be something else I'm supposed to do during it, but hitting help or pausing for controls gives you no information.

I'm about 20 hours in and I don't hate it but I do feel like it's the weakest Zelda title. Besides the controls being a pain in the ass I also feel like the level design, art direction, and soundtrack are just bland and uninspired compared to Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess.
