First off, praise to Popeye for making mayo on these things the standard as it was the one redeeming quality. But man, what a bad sandwich. Zero flavor or seasoning to the chicken. The breading got soggy really quick, there was little crispiness to it. The chicken had this bizarre texture where it felt way too tough despite not looking over cooked. And it was fully a frankenpattie where you can tell it was multiple parts of chicken breasts essentially sewen together.

Like how is this chain still around? Nothing on its menu has ever been good. Wings are also incredibly easy to make. There's a lot you could do with them, but just tossing them in oil and coating them in sauce would still get you better wings than theirs.

Popeyes has thoroughly won the chicken sandwich wars IMO. That shit is gonna be hard to top.

Chic fil a's got a solid one too. If Popeye's was as easy to get in and out if as Chic Fil A, it wouldn't even be a contest. But Popeye's just sucks to go to half the time lol.

That said Chic Fil A's grilled one is pretty solid if you want a chicken sandwich for half the calories.
