I want to build a “how to fight climate change as a leftist” guide similar to how r/personalfinance has a linear roadmap for improving your finances. We will have discussions of what needs to change, how they can be changed, and what can be done at a local level to make that happen.

I can moderate. Anyone with some actual credentialing or knowledge on climate change, I would appreciate the help

Doesn't c/earth act as a valid comm for climate stuff? I know it's not very active/big but I'm not in favor of just constantly adding new comms when there are alternatives.

Just watch out that it doesn't turn into reactionary defeatism like r/collapse

Doesn’t need to be strict bloomer, but it will effectively be a public working group to assemble these instructions. Off topic comments and posts will be removed

One thing that’s tangentially related is making sure everyone in your immediate circles is as food stable as possible.

This is a good pretense for starting to get to know your neighbors. Community gardens, CSA’s, and developing permaculture are all solid projects to increase food security and build social trust

No doom allowed. It would not be a space to talk about feeling hopeless. It would be a place to figure out how to overcome that hopelessness through organizing
