Opt out of global data surveillance programs like PRISM, XKeyscore and Tempora. Help make mass surveillance of entire populations uneconomical! We all have a right to privacy, which you can exercise today by encrypting your communications and ending your reliance on proprietary services.
I've had this bookmarked for awhile, can anyone confirm the veracity of this resource?
It's a nice idea. But it's nearly impossible to avoid Google drive/Docs/etc. if you're using a business. Or have friends that mandate Discord due to voice-chat/etc.
Well, I'm more getting at that avoiding Google is really hard in your day-to-day. Some companies use Google Docs, for instance because it's cheaper than MS Office (or don't want to learn OpenOffice/LibreOffice).
OpSec is nice, but now a days it seems like a lost cause. Which really sucks to admit, because privacy and encryption would be nice. But given major companies don't do it (because CIA/etc.), it's really hard to follow-through even for average joes. :(

Both are probably excusable in most instances. I think this mostly caters to people who take privacy very seriously for opsec.
