Adam Curtis isn't left. He lacks the materialist philosophical foundation to his analysis. He may be leftist on some policy things but his understanding of history is liberal.
Because neoconservatism is still to the left of the current right wing political environment, the right have gone full on fascist and they will paint anyone that isn't mask off fascist as far left.
