The US loves these dystopian credit score systems. Seen so many articles about stuff like this. Wasn't there a more general system used by insurance companies now that uses a bunch of random data to deny people insurance claims?

Yeah a lot of the opioid epidemic stuff is just "the war on drugs"/DARE rhetoric repackaged for left liberals because it's against "big pharma" and "corporations". Opioid prescriptions are at an all time low, yet overdoses are at an all time high. And the majority of opioid overdoses are from street drugs like heroin, which you cant get at any pharmacy or from a prescription. There's also a lot of rectoric around gateway drugs for prescriptions again, just like there was during the war on drugs with lighter drugs. Doctors aren't being guided to prescribe less opioids now out of the kindness of the US government's heart, it's being done because selling pills isn't as profitable as it used to be, due to the US withdrawal from opium production epicenters like Afghanistan.

"Communist China enforces a social credit system, and having a low score in the system can completely limit a person's quality of life........"

Communism is when no Healthcare workers, and the less healthcare you have the more communist you are.

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experiences but this is an absolutely wild take. I ask not for any further comments nor arguments, doesn't sound like you can be reasoned out of this position, just memeing over here.
