China, mostly as that has been my goal the past couple years. Have been studying Mandarin again and my company's regional head office is in China so a transfer is absolutely a possibility.
If we were just going by hypotheticals and the Magic Communism Genie would provide a job and all relevant language skills? I might actually go Cuba.
Cuba cause I’m too foolish and undisciplined to learn Mandarin. Also I love the Caribbean.
If I just assume I could learn the language and be of use to the society and itd be all peachy then probably Vietnam, just such a lovely place. Would love to live in Da Nang by the ocean.
China. I don't know Mandarin or any dialect, but I intend to learn- but hell, even if not the answer would be China. That I'm ethnic Chinese and that has always been really near and dear to me only makes it better. Also, as a Canadian I'd really rather move somewhere sufficiently cold (like northeastern China, Harbin or the like). I've lived in the tropics for a time (fam from Singapore) and the weather was hell
Which Islamic-Socialist Republic of Sweden?
/s if not obvious, though I wish it weren't sarcastic
according to conservatives it's the people democratic republic of Swedinstan
Our of currently existing ones it'd be China for me, out of previous ones I was very happy growing up in USSR.
Counterpoint is- have you seen Chinese internet? From what I've read (translated, I don't know Mandarin) it seems based AF.
Here for example... https://old.reddit.com/r/Sino/comments/18j4zf7/the_german_embassys_weibo_has_repeatedly_been/
as expected, most communists in the world come from socialist countries
China is amazing and I would love to move there someday... but I don't understand Mandarin, so Cuba.
