Wanted to share something I've been doing to help with my panic attacks, it seems to really help me at least.
This is going to sound really silly or pointless or like some Charlie Sheen crap but it helps me.
If I can feel a panic attack start welling up I picture a tiger in my mind like this and I try to picture myself being like the tiger. Do tigers have panic attacks? Hell no! Look at that majestic bastard he's afraid of literally nothing. I'll take a few deep breaths and repeat "tiger face!" to myself in my mind.
Feel free to dunk on how cheesy this is but maybe experiment with your own version of this with something you really like or respect. I've always loved cats and I think that's why it works for me. It could be whatever you want or like.
Sad that mental health care is so bad in my country I'm left to playing mind games on myself like this but something about it really helps.
