Before Apple had even released its Developer Transition Kit, virtualisation was already one of the 3 pillars of software support on Apple silicon Macs.

    It's interesting to see Apple be able to adapt ARM cpus to an existing space dominated by amd64. However, this just seems to be a ploy to integrate more proprietary tooling that's Apple grown.

    I will never use stock macOS, but I hope the Asahi Linux team will be able to use some part of this if at all. I doubt it though :(
