one time i sent a letter to the bill gates foundation. you know those pretty little collages you can make by cutting out letters from magazines in all the different interesting fonts and pasting them together? i love making those, i think they're so neat. anyway i was feeling artsy crafty one day and sent one to the bill gates foundation that said "eat the rich" and bill gates came to my place of residence and gave me a million dollars and said "aha! now you are rich, so why don't you go eat yourself!" and walked away with the smuggest fucking look on his face.
Between the Xi bucks, Soros dollars, the Rubles, and the free money the rich are giving to communists there really isn't any excuse to being poor anymore
Well obviously if you are principled social democrat you are above such things and must live in squalor for your dedication to your morally superior philosophy. Unlike those sellout communists.
Versoid Bookcels talking like this is beyond parody. Half of the shit on there belongs in barnes and noble pop history section
Can confirm, am communist artist, billionaires keep showing up at my door and throwing money at me. This is certainly a real thing that 100% happens all the time and this complaint certainly isn't just cope because some untalented unoriginal hack sucks at creating interesting art.
communism is when no food no money but also communism makes you inexplicably rich and powerful
Ah yes, all those *checks notes* billionaire communists that are definitely out there.
Have you not gotten your daily shipment of 1 million XiBucks?
Okay I definitely need to finish the "review" of people's republic of walmart but it's like 20 pages and it feels more like an unrelated treatise at this point
Unironically, if you understand Marxian economics and the mechanisms behind capitalism, then that will give you an edge when doing capitalist things.
I hold the position that Marxists makes the best capitalists.
I wouldn't call them Marxists if they understand the Marxist critique of capitalism but misuse it
Well, you know what I mean. Kristalina Georgieva, the head of the IMF, and formerly head of the world bank, went to the Karl Marx Higher Institute, for Economics for an MA in political economy and sociology.
yes, I'm just pointing out that there's a huge difference between understanding something and adhering to it (e.g. we more or less understand fascism but we couldn't be more ideologically different)
Marxists are first and foremost people who uphold the necessity of proletarian revolution. His analysis of capitalism is in service of this goal. Marxian economists (who you're describing) remove the critique and ignore the inherent political content because his analysis is that good.
