As someone who used to be a blue collar worker, this is extremely disturbing. OSHA is the only reason lazy construction jobs maintain basic safety standards and can’t punish you for taking a break in order to avoid heat stroke. The amount of stupid time saving measures that will happen without it will lead to unnecessary loss of life.
For the last year I've been wondering how the eventual balkinization will start. Red states shrugging off the authority of the federal government seems like an escalation
It will be interesting to see when this inevitably gets appealed to the Supreme Court whether they decide nullification is actually cool this time (obviously only in cases where it harms workers).
