Mind-bogglingly poor comprehension from a social imperialist.

Technically correct in the same way that productive efficiency doesn't reduce overall labor time or resource expenditure under capitalism. This is something Marx talked about. I remember reading about it in Value, Price and Profit (I think?), recently. Less fossil fuel use by cars in the capitalist market would just mean cheaper fossil fuels, which would mean more fuel usage for other purposes as a necessity for capitalists to stay in competition. Emissions need to be capped and both fossil fuel infrastructure and entire (worthless) industries need to be outright dismantled (in the imperial core) by the state in order for climate change to actually be stopped. The problem is capitalism, which I would assume is his point but I don't know the context.

I mean he's still a lib but I don't think pointing out this tweet is as much of an own as people are making it out to be. Also he annoys me so I don't keep up with his politics but I'm pretty sure he's pro-train?
