Is it strange that I am still hung up on the fact that this man once said that he "does not want his kids to grow up in a racial jungle"? I wouldn't want him anywhere near a black church.
I'm fuckin galled they even let his segregationist ass in, did no one in that congregation know about his work on the '94 Crime Bill? "Racial Jungle" Joe? Cosigner of Clinton's "super-predators"? I can't tell if they didn't know or if they're just a congregation of Sly Coopers. Could be that the allowance was specifically to land-mine him like that, but... I don't give benefit of the doubt like that anymore. I'm out of grace to give, I think.
It's been bugging me since I saw an interview (the interviewers were Black) during the last election cycle where he says "if you don't vote for me you ain't black". The interviewers let him get away with negligible pushback probably because they were those controlled-opposition types.
It makes me happy that this isn't an issue that's just going to magically disappear.
Joe is so stiff. He locks up and can barely respond to any rapid changes or pressure. I can't imagine how he's going to run for president again. It's only going to get worse, both in regards to him personally, and the pressure in general.
