This week's image is from the movie Event Horizon. I think I enjoy it mainly because I find space scary as it is, but it's not the best horror movie

Anyways, I've been watching season 3 of channel zero this week (butcher's block). that's good and disgusting, as it focuses on cannibalism

Watched this recently, Noche de Fuego CW: Violence, Sexual Violence The way the tension and terror is built is really well done, hard movie to watch. Far from a traditional scary movie but invokes fear.

Sorry I spaced out a lot over the weekend and totally forgot to respond to this. Not sure if it needs to be space?

Annihilation is definitely great, so I agree with that. Sunshine and Europa Report come to mind for me. I saw Pandorum a while ago, which is Event Horizon adjacent, but I don't remember if it was good or not lol

I love Event Horizon. I love space movies despite so many being mediocre, I think in part due to the tech, the isolation, the limited resources that explain away dumb aspects of other horror/action movies.

Event Horizon honestly sent chills down my spine and there's a scene where Laurence Fishburne delivers an absolutely spectacular monologue that I still think about. I might just rewatch it now.

I just watched Jug Face and it was sure... something. Folk horror is cool and all but idk if this one is all it's cracked up to be.
