      I'm regularly taken aback by how atrocious pre-2010s LCDs are, and even modern LCDs are at rendering stuff that was made for CRTs, and how quickly they took over.

      Hell high-end CRTs rendered 2048x1536, which was similar to 1440p like a decade before cheap LCDs did that.
