The boreal chickadee is a small passerine songbird in the tit family Paridae. It is found in the boreal forests of Canada and the northern United States and remains within this range all year. They have a call that sounds like, "chicka-dee-dee-dee." Also in spring, single males sing "Hi, Sweetie!" as they look for mates.

    Excellent birb. I always get them confused with male sparrows around me, they have similar face markings *removed externally hosted image*
