We may have Republican lawmakers who refuse to work with their colleagues across the aisle, but the Biden administration has shown it can work productively with countries across a border. A joint effort with Mexico to reduce illegal crossings into the U.S. (which the Biden administration has made an automatic disqualifier for asylum claims) has shown "positive results." What are those results? It's unclear, but we can assume reduced pathways into the U.S., reduced number of migrants, and more migrants stuck in the various humanitarian crises at the border.
