This is an older post on this: https://hexbear.net/post/79541
I have come across this a few times now and have tried twice to figure out how to check this out but each time I am stumped. Clearly I am not the most tech savvy person but it sounds interesting, is there any way for someone who isn't tech/code minded to access this?
I tried to install a client and it was not intuitive at ALL I would like an actual broswer client but could probably figure out a terminal if I spend some time on it.
Thanks
What you want is Lagrange. It's a GUI browser that works just like a normal browser, but can visit only Gemini protocol links. Start at gemini://medusae.space or gemini://skyjake.fi/~Cosmos/ or gemini://station.martinrue.com/ or gemini://gemini.cyberbot.space/smolzine/ and start browsing around!
Oh fuck, you know skyjake?! Total legend, tell them thanks for everything they've done for the community!!!
THANK YOU!
I was able to install using flatpak, the install process was too confusing for all the other clients I had looked at.
:rat-salute:
Hey that's my post lol
I use amfora for gemini, although I really don't browse much. Kristall is a good graphical client that is like a very simple browser.
check out gemini://commie.space and gemini://konpeito.media
The konpeito mixtapes are genuinely great. I also recommend!
No idea, I've seen it mentioned by a few people here and on mastodon so have wanted to check it out but was met with technical difficulties.
