Write off white nationalism as "conceited Anglo decadence", make some bullshit about how we follow the French model of "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite" and maybe with enough national myth-building, people might be sympathetic to a socialist republic.
You've probably seen me egging on Quebec about this before, and while I have received some constructive criticism on the idea, I believe that there is a net positive if more of North America Balkanizes and there can be some possible leftist havens that spring up in the process. I haven't read up too much, but I want to say that Quebec might succeed where the Provisional IRA has failed in creating a socialist republic in Ireland. At least today, Ireland is still (relatively) chill for a global north country.
