So i've not worked since 2018 due to my Opioid addiction and now that i'm finally pulling myself out of that, i'd like to get back into work. Problem is, I was basically doing nothing besides getting high for 4 years straight. What are some ideas of what to put down for work history when I start filing out applications.

Get some friends who will vouch for you, even tell outright lies. Specifics depend on what kind of job you're looking for though. Just someone who they can call on the phone and will say "Yeah, they were a good team player, really personable and easy to work with."

Something like a programming or engineering job will tend to be more credential-focused and you'll be expected to do evaluations before they take you on, and some jobs might also be turning you away if you don't have a degree. I know office jobs tend to be picky, but even just having a degree in something like Philosophy is usually enough for that. I wouldn't know how faking a degree would work though, I've never met someone who tried it.
