I dunno why, but my family's recipe just kinda weirdly grittier than I'd like. Am I not using enough baking soda? Do I really need to peel all the skins, it takes forever.

    i dont use any baking soda at all just mix olive oil tahini peas lemon juice and the spices you want
    you can add some cold water if its too thicc
