Whats some cool animal stuff you've learned lately? I found out bats smash into each other constantly while swarming and got really into the weeds of the wolf/raven alliance, it is cool. Wombats are also now my most feared land animal.

    Lorikeets are the only nectar eating parrots. They have little nectar collecting brushes on their tongues

        Thats a native Australian flowering bush called a grevillea. They cme in lots of pretty colors and are choc full of nectar and pollen so the wildlife loves them. Great plants.

          The more cool nature posts you can gimme today/morrow the better plz! I forgot until recently it's the 2 year anniversary of my best friend dying and I'll have to be a cook at a restaurant om vslnetines day during a blizzard. The next 24 hours are gonna be rough and cool nature shit helps a lot

    last one that really got me going was baleen but that was a awhile ago

    long story short its keratin, not bone, so unrelated to teeths---baleen whales went teeth-->no teeth (suck feeder)-->mouth hair-->filter eaters. and this has to be said to be speculative technically since keratin-shit is hard to find in the fossil record, but i think it's theoretically pretty airtight
