It’s such a shame Bernie died of that heart attack in 2019 😔

Nothing has made me more jokerfied than the realization of how little would actually have even been different if we'd actually managed to get Bernie elected.

You know I'm starting to realize that empathy without discernment is just as bad as no empathy from a functional standpoint since both result in enabling bad behaviors and beliefs.

On TikTok there's this lady that has terminal cancer that wants her song to go viral so she can leave something for her son to remember and money for him too. Everyone started using her song and even got it really high in apple music charts (I think #2 for u.s). This was entirely bc of people's empathy, like people didn't give care about her until they found out she was dying of cancer and wanted to leave money for her son.

None of that would've happened had people not have empathy for her and her situation.

Turns out she's a massive Zionist and follows the iof; the iof even used her song.

Now people are dropping her song (used to be everywhere on TikTok) and those that are holding her responsible for her heinous views are getting lectures from "the empaths" about how we need to think of her son and separate the art from the artist and that "it's so cruel" to actually address her fucked up beliefs.

My view is this: if you can't have empathy for others no one should have empathy for you.

IDK why this reminded me of that, probably bc he's an old nazi man that had a heart attack.
