Looking to get a blender for some cooking recipes but mostly for smoothies/juice. Not handheld. Second hand is fine, new is good too if you know of a good one. Would be helpful if it would turn magic mushrooms to dust too but not necessary

Budget around £40, could be convinced to spend a little more though

Thanks!

Why not an immersion blender? I haven't used my regular one since I got it.

Mostly because disassembling and cleaning a regular blender takes a lot longer. The ones with a spigot on the side for smoothies are even worse.

For spices and dry stuff I use a coffee grinder I picked up for 2 dollars at a yard sale.

I've had a nutribullet for 6 years now, still works, makes great smoothies and works dry also, I use it to grind spices. It's a little more than your price range, but mine is still going strong despite near daily use.

Find the cheapest you can used, thrift store or FB market place, and use it until it breaks.
