    yeah this is really common in California

    young people living 5-6 to a shared (usually small) rental to live independently from their parents or just outright homelessness

    tons of soft homelessness too, probably shitloads of people who would be up shit creek without a paddle if their parent/partner/relative died

    I would probably be homeless or housing insecure if my dad died lmao

    Californian homeowners would rather see the majority of the state become homeless than see their property value go down, even a penny.

    Good thing they tricked idiots into believing gay marriage or worker's rights caused this.
