"For you non-new yorkers, let me explain: a bodega is not a corner store. It's a place where you can buy gatorade, toilet paper, AND eggs." I have legitimately always been confused by the bodega thing for the same reason.
We have several chains that do exactly that and they're just called "corner stores".
Damn, that's called a Spar, or Premier, or Londis.
