That's what happens when the government that represents the interests of your country gets overthrown in a western backed coup and gets replaced by a puppet regime.

Its more like oligarchic government, interested in their own means of production and thus coincidentally in interests of country, was replaced by vibes based government interested in retirement think tank circuit.

For sure, as with any capitalist regime, it's the interests of the oligarchs that the regime represents first and foremost.
