As in do they still censor word like fuck as removed and delete your comment ? Haven't seen anything about it but just saw some .ml folks swearing.
The filter is setup for filtering slurs, not swear words more broadly. So "fuck" and "shit" are no problem, but "b*tch", "r*tard", and similar are censored.
When i used to be there they did censor or delete those posts

This is a test, you removed. Sorry about the slur, but the NATO reporting name for the Mig-15 fighter was removedot. I am unsure whether the slur is spelled with two Gs, though - It's not like it's a word I've needed to use a lot.
You are not on lemmy.ml so you never were censored to begin with.
As a Lemmy.ml user, I believe the censoring happens for every comment I view through that instance.

I see everything in every comment in this thread. I don't think anyone has actually said anything censorable yet. I do see "removed" now and again though.
