Or do I still have to sprout it? I just cracked it open and that looks like a root to me, but I'm not really familiar with mango seeds and I want to make sure I do it right.

    Don't see the embryonic leaves popping out yet. Generally you wanna wait until you see some leaves no matter what seed you got, getting an energy source helps it with infections and growing

      Yeah! You have to let it dry out for a day or two and then you can open it up
