Afaik not, but NATO send a lot of ships there and they did nothing while the losses to what they protect are mounting every day as shipping is forced to go around Africa. Paper tiger is paper, it was shown in Ukraine, but only by proxy and now the most powerful navies of an essentially ocean-centered military pact can't do shit about tiny country attacking the most vulnerable target: profits.

Pardon my cynical mind but there are reasons to believe that the US wants the shipping routes disrupted to accelerate the deindustrialization of Europe.

That’s not to say that the US Navy could get the situation under control if they wanted to, but the US certainly couldn’t care less and actually benefits more from making goods much, much more expensive for Europe.

Europe yes, but that also result in substantial losses to US based shipping and to Israel economy and they can't have that because the interest groups are moving.

The plundering of Europe is going to recoup all that losses, with many more times to spare. Again, I think people are missing the forest for the trees here.

I mean... all Europe has to do is condemn Isreal and take the nessessary steps to oppose genocide. The US is in alot deeper shit and are going to find it exponentially more difficult to exploit the global south

Europe needs the dollar now more than ever. I don’t think people understand how important is the European dependence for the USD these days.

There is no way that Europe is going to sacrifice their ability to get dollars for Palestinian lives. Zero chance.
