The shooting was too extreme, IMO they should've just sued them, but what did they expect? France is a country with a history of suppressing Muslims and has killed more than 6 million Muslims in colonialism, and has an oppressed population of Africans and Arabs and a lot of them are Muslims, and during 2015 which was the height of ISIS they choose to draw a racist caricature of the most important human being to Muslims? and without even believing in Islam, if you look at the drawing it is a bearded man with a long nose and a weird hat plotting something evil. Imagine if a German "leftist" newspaper today drew an anti-semitic drawing of a Jew and called him Moses and then wrote "100 banks" how would the reaction be?
