I just got home from work, and she immediately greeted me at the door and led me to her food bowl so I could watch her eat. She was born feral, so she needs me to watch over her while she eats because she's concerned about predators.
When she was finished eating, she sped off across the apartment and into the bedroom, so I chased her in there. She's really weird and loves butt spanks, so she was waiting with her butt up in the air, lmao. So after I slapped her back and forth with my hands a few times, I ran away from her towards the living room. I hid behind the coffee table, and after a five second delay, I heard her run at full speed to me. When she found me, she slapped me on the forehead. Then she took off to the kitchen, where she was waiting for more butt slaps.
This is a game of tag that we play with each other almost every night when I get home, and it's one of the highlights of my day, lol. She's bizarre, and I love her.
I had a feral born cat, I found him abandoned under a camper in the woods and had to bottle feed him for the first few weeks. He was an all black short hair named Marcel. He used to follow me around like a dog. He was the best.
Awe, he really appreciated you taking him out of the wild when he was abandoned. Cats are the best pets :meow-melt:
He would try to nurse my neck giving me little cat hickies. I think he really saw me and my sister as his moms.

Yeah I have a thing with animals, they really like me. Whether its dogs, cats, horses, or even deer and squirrels and other not-pets on occasion.

She taps my arm probably 40 times a day so I can watch her eat. I put her food bowl next to my desk so I don't have to get up every five minutes, lol.

She looks like a Nebelung cat breed. Pretty sure I have a mixed one (has white tuxedo marks, supposed to be all grey). Very cool cat . Mine was play fetch with his toys.
How did you discover your cat likes to play fetch? One time, about three weeks after I adopted Ruby, she randomly approached me with a ping pong ball she found and dropped it at my feet. She just sat and stared at me, so I threw it and she brought it back, lol. I thought that was the coolest thing, I never heard of cats playing fetch before.
Pretty much the same he would bring me my wife's hair ties so I can launch them across the hallway for him to bring back. Mine has a favorite string, the first toy he played with after adoption ( he hid for about 3 days). He carries the string around like he's caught a snake from one room to another. He sometimes will hide what he thinks are toys like the hair ties or socks. He's super afraid of plastic bags after getting one stuck on him like a parachute as he ran around. Super affectionate and very bonded to us.
Yup, she's a nebbie! They're super neat cats. I love the blue tint in their fur and their big yellow/green eyes, they look very wise lol.
Mine plays fetch too! All those springs are her favorite toys to play fetch with. That's something nebelungs are predisposed to do.
