I was once a liberal like you. I used to get sentimental over fireworks on the 4th of July. I used to fall for Obama-style rhetoric. I even used to say, "I'm A pAtRiOt NoT a NaTiOnAlIsT". But no more -- not in a good long while. I can't bring myself to even be present for the singing of the USian national anthem at a sporting event.

But something about putting minor league baseball on the MLB network and really making it an event... It's about as close to USian Stakhanovism as will be allowed at the moment. These guys have toiled in obscurity making definitionally unlivable wages, only to have one of the largest spotlights in their sport shone on them.

In closing -- radicalize your neighborhood baseball fan against the MLB owners cartel (and capitalism) today. It worked (kinda) on :bernie:!
